Whether you wish to kitesurf, windsurf, kayak, see dolphin and whales-- or just lounge in our pool and watch the sunset-- Villa Setha Wadi is the perfect place to make your home base in Kalpitiya.

Take kitesurf lessons at a nearby school, or enjoy kite trips and safaris to beautiful waterways and lagoons. Then step back into quiet luxury at the end of the day in our villa. Use of our kayaks is included in the room price.

Boats trips are booked through trusted third parties. This includes tours for the dolphin/whale watching in the winter months, Barr reef snorkeling/diving excursions and trips to beautiful Wilpattu National park.

KITESURFING

We are located right on the Kapitiya lagoon, in the center of the kitesurfing area- just beside the largest kite school and a short walk from the windsurf centre. Experienced and independent kiters can self- launch from our beach. or you can go next door for assisted launching and landing.
Dolphin / Whale watching

See and feel nature’s most beautiful and amazing creatures in our country’s waters. From a jump of a friendly dolphin to a flip of a mighty whale.
Boat tours

Snorkelling and scuba excursions can be arranged at reefs nearby. Or, take a boat up the coast and rivers of Wilpattu National Park.
KAYAKING

Gliding over still waters to explore Kalpitiya lagoon, you may see fish jumping nearby or a stork hunting its breakfast. Use of kayaks is included in the room charge.
Wilpattu National Park

Spectacular Wilpattu National park is 131,000 hectares of jungle forest and grassland lakes, home to leopards, elephants, buffalo, many species of birds, and much more. Jeep tours and safaris available.

Please note - There is no guarantee that you will see the dolphins/whales on your excursions, as they are wild animals with seasonal and unpredictable movement patterns. Kite surfing is arranged with nearby centres; good swimming skill is required and safety will be at your own risk as it is considered an extreme sport. All water sport activities require good swimming skill and are weather-dependent.
